The concert is on Sunday, November 25, 2:30PM at Mount Seymour United Church 1200 Parkgate Ave, North Vancouver
Donations gratefully accepted.
Over 300 years of music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods - including compositions by Purcell, J.S. Bach, Gabrieli, and Byrd - are in the program.
The sound of this music played by a 35 piece brass band is truly awesome (although played on modern brass instruments, much of the repertoire was originally performed on the very earliest versions of today's instruments). The centrepiece of the concert will be music from Bach's Brandenburg Concerto # 3.
Please join us as we celebrate "The Majesty of Brass".
The concert is on

The concert program drove us to drink! (Because it was a challenging program - why else?)
These concerts present a program selected from the music of Broadway and musical theatre. You'll recognize every tune - I guarantee it!
In addition to musical pieces composed specifically for brass band, the repertoire benefits greatly from transcriptions of music written for other genres, such as classical, opera, and folk music. This concert celebrates the diversity available to brass bands.
The LMBB web site can be accessed through an alternate, "alias" web address: http://lmbb.ca/ Some will find this a little easier to remember, compared to http://lmbb.vabbs.org/, which will continue to work, also.
